Is it true that a Ukrainian woman won the 2024 World Sex Championship?

In April 2024, reports were widely circulated that Ukrainian citizen Olesya Prikhodko took first place at the world sex championship held in Spain. We checked if this is true.

Since April 8, many publications have appeared on the RuNet about the results of the World Sex Championships held in Spain. It was reported that the champion among men was Capitano Eric from Italy, and among women - Ukrainian Olesya Prikhodko, performing under the pseudonym Nausi Love. Most posts and notes show photographs of a girl with a yellow-blue flag and specify that the Ukrainian was able to “serve” 210 men, while the Italian pleased 41 women. According to the TGStat service, at the time of writing this analysis, about 340 posts appeared on Telegram about Prikhodko’s supposed victory, with a total of more than 2.5 million views. In the channel "Uncle Slava”(229,000 views) the news was commented on as follows: “Zelensky. Results." Similar entries are posted in the channels "Observer"(234,000 views), "Sheikh Tamir"(155,000), "Skabeeva"(99,000), "Tough of the day"(81,000) and Nina Vatt (54,000), as well as in public pages on VKontakte (examples here, here And here).

They also talked about this on Russian television. So, on April 9 in the program “60 minutes"on the channel "Russia 1" First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Alexey Zhuravlev said that a Ukrainian woman won the World Sex Championship. “Of course, her last name is Nausi Love, but in fact her last name is Prikhodko. There is already victory. This is why they tried to join the European Union,” the deputy said. The topic was supported by presenter Olga Skabeeva, clarifying that Nausi Love is just a pseudonym for a Ukrainian woman and that her victory in such an event “says a lot about Ukraine.” More about this dialogue later told on his YouTube channel, political blogger Maxim Kats*, who expressed no doubts about the veracity of the information voiced.

However, the authors of some publications have a slightly different version of the winner’s nationality. So, Telegram channel “Evening Telegram"(62,000 views) claims that the Ukrainian Prikhodko played for Sweden. “In Spain, Swede Nausi Love won the World Sex Championship. <…> I decided to read the biography of the athlete. It turned out that her name was Olesya Prikhodko. Swedish, yes. And it’s always like this with them,” the channel writes. Alex Parker Returns (104,000 views). Channel authors Voblya (169,000 views) initially also wrote about the winner from Ukraine, but soon changed the publication: the Ukrainian became Swedish, while the girl’s name remained unchanged. In a note from the Sport Express newspaper Prikhodko called Swedish Ukrainian.

On April 21, a continuation of the story appeared. “Odessa decommunizers reached the Potemkin Stairs. They demand that one of the main attractions of the city be renamed the staircase of the Hero of Ukraine Olesya Prikhodko. By the way, who is this?” — reported the Telegram channel “Mriya"(191,000 views including reposts in the channel "Sheikh Tamir"), accompanying the publication with the same photograph. This news attracted almost no interest from Internet users; Among other relatively large channels, only “Yuri Podolyaka"(13,000 views) and "Mikhalkov on Telegram"(8100).

In 2023, journalists and bloggers from different countries reported, that Sweden allegedly became the first state in the world to register sex as a sport, and that in the summer of the same year the European Sex Championships would be held in Gothenburg. Such an event was actually announced Swedish Sex Federation (SSF), however it turned outthat its founder was refused registration of a new sport back in January of the same year.

The event still took place, but did not go according to plan. "Tournament" was carried out in the format of an online reality show, during which the participants (among them were announced as representatives Ukraine And Russia, so do girls with Russian roots) could “compete” in various “disciplines”. By words Croatian porn actress Maria Zadravec, the championship was supposed to last about two months (tabloids reported about one and a half), but ended in just a week. Official reason called multiple violations of the rules on the part of the participants, and they, in turn, complained for the work of the organizers. The winner in the end was announced Zadravets.

In 2024, the SSF held its World Sex Championships in Spain. He should have runs from March 5 to April 5, but ended early again - organizers announced The names of the winners are already on March 27. Among men, first place was taken by Capitano Eric from Italy, among women - Nausi Love from Sweden. “Verified” did not find representatives of Ukraine in the list of declared participants.

In the photo, the winner is holding a yellow-blue flag, while in a significant part of the posts about the “Ukrainian” champion, this photo is heavily cropped - so that first the blue and then the yellow stripe is visible on the flag. However, when examining the original photograph, you can see a Scandinavian cross on the panel, that is, this is not a state symbol Ukraine, A Sweden.

On the Nausi Love website saidthat she is originally from Sweden and speaks fluent Swedish and English, as well as basic knowledge of French. “Verified” did not find any references to Ukrainian origin. We also studied the porn model’s account on the social network X, where she several times denied information about her Ukrainian roots. “The first fake news about me. I feel honored. Somewhere I became Ukrainian and for some reason my name is Olesya Prikhodko,” wrote girl April 8. In another tweet posted the same day, Nausi emphasizedthat she is Swedish and that her full name is Nausicaä. She's the same repeated April 10, and April 25 girl gave comment to AFP: “I am neither Ukrainian nor Russian. There are no Ukrainian or Russian roots in my family tree. I'm Swedish, I have Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Jewish roots." The SSF representative also stated journalists that Nausi Love is a Swedish citizen.

The winner is also talked with RFI and called viral reports that she is a Ukrainian named Olesya Prikhodko a lie. In addition, from a note on the website of the French radio station it follows that the information about Nausi having sex with 210 men to win the tournament is completely fictitious - less than two dozen people, including women, participated in the event. Nausi Love also confirmed that representatives of Ukraine were not among them.

The earliest publication that the Ukrainian Prikhodko won the World Sex Championship was found by “Verified” in the Telegram channel “Pozdnyakov 3.0" There, the post appeared on April 8 at 09:58 Moscow time and received more than 370,000 views. Apparently, it was the authors “Pozdnyakova 3.0“they made up details of Nausya Love’s biography and her achievements, in particular Ukrainian citizenship and the girl’s name, as well as sex with 210 men at the tournament. Previously, we and other fact checkers have repeatedly incriminated this channel is spreading fakes.

Thus, Ukrainian Olesya Prikhodko did not win the World Sex Championship. The first place at this event was taken by a representative of Sweden with the pseudonym Nausi Love, who denies having Ukrainian citizenship and Ukrainian roots. There is also no confirmation of this information in open sources. The basis of the disinformation, apparently, was a photograph of a girl wrapped in a Swedish flag - the picture was cropped to make it look like a Ukrainian one.
