In August 2023, the media and social networks reported that in the capital of Ukraine they decided to mate over the explosion of gas stations in Dagestan and announced a music party with fire show. We checked whether this story is true.
The first publications about this event appeared on the evening of August 15. Messages are based on two screenshots allegedly made on Instagram of the* Kyiv club Forsage. The first image is a picture of the screen with the profile of the establishment, where it is clear that recently there was allegedly posted a story that is shown in the second screenshot. According to the virus announcement, on August 18, a party with a fire show should be held called “Fiery Makhachkala” with “cocktails, claps, explosive music and wild dances”. According to the authors of numerous posts, in this way the club owners decided to “celebrate” the explosion at a gas station in the capital of Dagestan, which It happened In the evening of August 14. As a result of the incident, according to the data at the time of writing this analysis, 35 people were killed, another 119 were injured. In Telegram channel "Pozdnyakov 3.0”(235,000 views) The announcements commented as follows:“ How much is it advisable to spend one “caliber” on this club at the moment when this party will be there? Since “verified” the telegram channels regularly monitor, repeatedly Caught At the distribution of fakes, we drew attention to reports about the alleged Kyiv party on the evening of August 15. The earliest publication with screenshots allegedly from the Instagram of the Kyiv club appeared In the channel "Shaman Rahu" (8000 views) at 21:19 Moscow time. The images were accompanied by the following description: “E *** the club in Kyiv is completely o ** ate, rejoices at the explosion in Dagestan and made a thematic party about it. The spread screenshot states that the announcement appeared 22 hours ago, however, when we looked at Instagram-The club of the club 12 minutes after the first publication, there were no fresh story, although they should be visible within a day. We also checked the comments under the last posts, but did not find a single message about the Party on the subject of the explosion in Makhachkala. There was no such announcement in Facebook* and on the club’s website, where events in Afisha were announced until August 17. Then, in the evening of August 15, “verified” requested a club’s comment, but at that time there was no answer.
Since a few hours later the news about the party spread widely in Runet, on the night of August 16, the club published a refutation of several storis. First contained text in Ukrainian:
The announcement of the "fiery party", which is accelerated in Telegram channels, is someone's stupid provocation. We did not conduct and do not carry out fiery shows for security reasons and do not insult people on a national basis. The poster with the Fiery Show is a fake aimed at inciting enmity, to which we have nothing to do.

Many worthy people from Dagestan live in Kyiv, who often were visiting us and support Ukraine. All adequate people understand that such a poster could not be in our club. How can one believe that such a poster would last in the tape for 22 hours without a tough reaction of those whom it offends? Do not be fucked by provocations of the Evil Empire.

However, at the time of publication of the newspaper material in the social networks of the club, only one comment could be found with indignation, while its author later apologized.
It was “verified” that on the morning of August 16, three posts on the event were gone on the club on August 26 on August 16. We requested a comment from the representative of the institution and received the following answer: “They are temporarily in the archive, we will soon restore it. People see a fire on the poster and, not paying attention to the date, think that this is the same fake poster. ” “Some several times we answer that this is a fake before they generally read the answer. Then they apologize and wish the victory to Ukraine. Unfortunately, we will not bring truthful information to all, but many do not need it, ”the second message said.
It is noteworthy that in the part of publications with the fake posters there is a logo of the Shaman Rahu channel or it is clear that it was inaccurately erased (this is understandable not only by the distortions of the frame, but also on the green strip on the shoulder of the participant in the fire show). At the same time, in some posts there are no traces of the logo or its removal. This suggests that there were at least two sources of fake spread. For example, without a poster logo appeared In the Telegram channel “Communications Knot” (53,000 views) on August 15 at 21:31, and after 22 minutes in the channel “System Pesticide” (310,000) the same images laid out indicating that they were sent by an anonymous “angry subscriber”.
