A photograph of an order signed by the military commissar of Dagestan to suspend mobilization in the republic has circulated on the Internet. We have verified the authenticity of this document.
Five days after the mobilization announced in Russia, news spread on the Internet about its suspension in the Republic of Dagestan due to mass protests of the population. The news was accompanied photography order of the military commissar of Dagestan “On the suspension of mobilization.” They also wrote about this Russian, And Ukrainian Media. Many social network users quote publication of the publication "Kasparov.ru" And it, in turn, refers to fast Telegram channel Ateo Breaking (more than 370,000 views). Facebook-fast former Russian politician Ilya Ponomarev also received more than 580 likes and 70 reposts.
Protests against mobilization began in different regions of Russia on the first day of conscription, September 21. Particularly resonant steels stock in Dagestan. During one of these protests, residents of Dagestan blocked federal highway Khasavyurt - Makhachkala, and scattered across social networks video, showing protesters firing machine guns into the air. In response to these mass protests, Dagestan military commissar Daitbeg Mustafayev allegedly issued an order to suspend mobilization in the republic. Photo This order quickly spread on the Internet. Many sources wrote about the complete abolition of mobilization. In the very document it only says that mobilization has been suspended because “a sufficient number of mobilized citizens have been recruited from among the residents of the republic.”
Some social media users were skeptical about this news. assumingthat the photo of the order is fake. Indeed, there were no official statements from the Dagestan authorities about the cancellation of mobilization that day. On the contrary, the Governor of Dagestan Sergei Melikov in his Telegram channel wrote, that mobilization is going according to plan and the tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation will be fulfilled: “We will fulfill the tasks for partial mobilization that our president set. There is no doubt about it. The heads of municipalities should keep the situation under control and check the lists by name!” In the text of the order itself, we found several typos and errors: for example, “Makhachkala”, “on suspension”, “implementation”, “according to the order”, etc. It is worth noting that in the original order The military commissar of Dagestan dated September 21 “On the announcement of mobilization” also contains an error - a comma is missing in the last sentence before the word “independently”, just like in the fake order dated September 26.

Another mistake made in the fake order is the absence of the abbreviation M.P. (“place of seal”) after the signature of the military commissar, which is necessarily present in official documents such a plan. Apparently, the author of the fake copied the format from the original order about mobilization, in which the letters M.P. difficult to see because of the seal placed on top. These letters usually appear one line below the signer's last name and flush with the left edge of the document text. This means that on the order to suspend mobilization they should have been clearly visible even from under the seal.
In orders for mobilization in other cities, a common mistake is also sometimes encountered - missing a space between the “g.” and the name of the city (for example, "Samara" or "Krasnodar"). So the presence of minor errors in a document does not yet prove a forgery. In the case of the order to suspend mobilization in Dagestanen, the falsity is rather indicated by a significant number of typos and errors, as well as statements by Dagestan officials that contradict the text of the order.
One of the first publications with a fake photo - Telegram-fast channel Ateo Breaking. The channel superimposed its logo on the image, and this is how it is found in most sources. However, the earliest publication We managed to find photographs without a logo in the “Pacifist” Telegram channel. Judging by the username (army_NEobyazan) and description channel, it provides reference information to those who want to avoid military service or leave the armed forces. It seems that this publication became the primary source of disinformation about the suspension of mobilization in Dagestan.
