In early February 2024, a video diverged on social networks, the author of which allegedly received a strange message from the Ukrainian army. We checked how plausible this information is.
In an 18-second Ukrainian-language video, a person who is behind the scenes demonstrates two documents that came to him together: a letter of thanks from the Armed Forces of Ukraine for his donations for the needs of the army and a summons to the military enlistment office.
The video was widely dispersed through social networks. In particular, the channels shared them in Telegram "Live broadcast"(672,000 views at the time of writing this analysis),"Ne. Sahar"(290 000), Colonelcassad (254,000), "Russia now"(248,000),"Truthfulness"(210 000) and"Putin in Telegram"(165 000).
Donations from individuals play a noticeable role in supporting the Ukrainian army - so, according to data The National Bank of the country, as of February 1, 2024, the donates from different countries in the amount of about 35 billion UAH ($ 930 million) received a specially open account for this purpose. Money for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is also collected by numerous charitable foundations. However, it has not yet been known about the practice of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to send the most ordinary citizens by mail departmental gratitude for the donations, because the names of the sender can not always be determined from the money transfer, not to mention his home address. Moreover, “verified” did not find signs of the spread of a viral video outside the Russian-language segment of the Internet and, in particular, in the Ukrainian media and online communities.
Let us consider in more detail the paper, which in the video is called "Gratitude of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine." The order "On departmental incentive signs of the differences between the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine" contains description And sketch Document with this name. There, in particular, it is said:
The front side of gratitude is a plane with a flow of light blue into a light yellow color, framed by a yellow frame against the background of a granite pattern of dark blue. The frame is formed by an ornament, on both sides of which parallel lines go.
In the upper part of the plane is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, on both sides of which is a background image of curly ribbons from two equal stripes (upper - blue, lower - yellow). Below are the inscriptions “Mini Constructure of the defense of Ukraine” (“Ministry of Defense of Ukraine”) and “Podyak” (“Gratitude”) yellow letters. In the lower part of the plane there may be an inscription with the number and date of the order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine on awarding gratitude. The letters and numbers in the inscription are black.

As you can see, paper from a viral video violates almost all rules for drawing up documents of this type in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. In addition, there is no print on it, and the military unit with the A7512 code and its commander Dmitry Zarubin are not mentioned in open sources. The compilers did not do without grammatical errors. So, according to rules Ukrainian grammar, “you” in the case of addressing one person, like the first word in the combination of “Zbroinі of Ukrainian”, you need to write with the title letter, and “a hairstyle” (funds) - through I, and not through “and”.
Let us now turn to the agenda. In 2021 in Ukraine, to the military commissariats They came Territorial centers for completing and social support (TCC and SP). Accordingly, the same law renamed the military commissars to the leaders of the TCC and SP. However, in the document from the viral video, which was allegedly shot in 2024, both outdated concepts are mentioned.

There are many other inconsistencies of the agenda state samplelike that:
- irregular application number with a template (24 instead of 11);
- The surname of the military commissar in the field intended for the date of delivery of the agenda;
- lack of a summons;
- Lack of printing;
- usage Old The names of the city of Kropyvnitsky - Kirovograd.

Thus, neither gratitude nor a summons from the video can be considered valid documents regardless of their origin.
They responded to the video and at the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security at the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. Turning attention On a number of characteristic errors, they called the video a poor -quality fake aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the TGSTAT service, the first video was posted on February 3 at 13:15 Moscow time Telegram channel "Bear". It has already been mentioned in the analysis of "verified" as a distributor of fake photo And videorelated to Ukraine.
