In March 2025, information appeared on the Internet that a page dedicated to the ten-year bilateral security treaty between Ukraine and the United States had been removed from the White House website. We have verified the accuracy of such publications.
On March 6, Russian-language media and Telegram channels began spreading the news: the security agreement signed by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and former US President Joe Biden in June 2024 was allegedly removed from the White House website a few weeks after the inauguration of the new head of state, Donald Trump. This was reported, for example, Lenta.ru, "Gazeta.ru" And "Arguments and facts", as well as Telegram channels "Ne.Sugar"(233,000 views at the time of writing this analysis), "Solovyov"(220,000), "Newsach / Dvach"(216,000), "RT in Russian"(200,000), "Country politics"(99,500), etc. Many bloggers interpreted disappearance of the contract from the site as cancellation of guaranteesrecorded in the document. Others - for example, Telegram channel "KB. Economy"(96,000 views) - they claim the opposite: “The paper did not contain any guarantees at all and was intended only to raise the morale of Ukrainians so that they would continue to support Zelensky.”
The news about the disappearance of the agreement from the official website of the US President appeared against the background breakdown negotiations between Kyiv and Washington on mineral resources and security guarantees. On February 28, Zelensky arrived at the White House to discuss these issues, but the meeting escalated into a public spat with Trump and US Vice President J.D. Vance. As a result, the negotiations were disrupted, the Ukrainian leader left the Oval Office early, and the world's largest publications wrote about one of the biggest diplomatic disasters in recent history.
The treaty discussed in viral posts, Zelensky and Biden signed June 13, 2024. According to the document, the United States undertakes to support Ukraine’s efforts to strengthen its defense and Euro-Atlantic integration for ten years, as well as develop the Ukrainian military-industrial complex. Then the text of the agreement was published on the US White House website, but after Trump returned to the presidency, the page really became unavailable.

By data different Telegram channels, the first reports about the disappearance of the document from the White House website appeared either in Ukrainian or Western media. The earliest such publication that “Verified” was able to find appeared on March 6 at 02:23 Moscow time in the Ukrainian Russian-language Telegram channel “Torredo" “Now America can sign any agreements, make any promises, guarantees and support, and then simply remove it from the site and say: “There was no such agreement. Fake news!!!,” the blogger wrote.
Judging by the copies of the page where the text of the agreement was published preserved in the Internet Archive, the link to it was active January 18, however already February 1 stopped functioning. Trump inauguration took place January 20.

However, along with the US-Ukrainian security agreement, the section itself disappeared.Statements and releases”, which published documents signed by Biden as president. However, this does not mean their cancellation. The fact is that when the new US President takes office, the domain whitehouse.gov goes over under the jurisdiction of his administration, which changes the design of the site and begins to fill it with content about the current head of state. This can be checked, for example, by looking at the section “News": the earliest publication there dates back to January 20, the day of Trump's inauguration.

Documents related to Biden's activities as president have been moved to the website bidenwhitehouse.archives.gov. U US National Archives there is a list of similar resources where you can find copies of the websites of previous administrations: Clinton, Bush Jr., Obama and Trump in his first term.
As for the ten-year security agreement between the United States and Ukraine, its text is still available on the website State Department And US Congress, as well as in archive Biden administration website. At the time of writing this analysis, there were no statements on the official resources of the American government about the cancellation of this document.
Thus, the text of the agreement on security cooperation between the United States and Ukraine disappeared from the White House website, along with all other materials released during the administration of ex-President Biden. This is normal practice when American presidents change: the website of the outgoing administration is archived and transferred to a separate domain, and the incoming administration begins to fill out the portal anew. In this regard, it is unfounded to draw conclusions that certain documents have lost their legal force.
