In early January 2024, a video began to spread in social networks, on which the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk addresses compatriots publishing a video of the air defense of air defense in social networks. On the record, he promises to personally come to every guilty. We decided to check if this video is true.
In a 30-second video, a person, similar to the head of the SBU, says the following text: “I want to turn to those curious guys and girls who shoot videos with the arrivals and work of our air defense. You know, I have recently become very interested in your work. So carried away that I am looking for each of the authors of these videos. When I call your doors, I hope that you will look at the screen of your intercom with the same, b ..., with the persistence with which you shoot these videos. ” This video was reported by Telegram channels such as "Uncle Glory"(215,000 views at the time of writing this analysis),"Ukrainian 24/7 - New"(204 000), Voblya (155,000) and "Ukraine.ru"(132 000).
There is nothing surprising in the call in the call. Ukrainian officials regularly remind of this, and the Criminal Code in the spring of 2022 added a direct ban on such shooting. The roller allegedly from the head of the SBU was the first to publish precisely the Telegram channel "Base, CHAYUSTON"January 2, 2024 at 22:41 Moscow time, he collected 1.6 million views.
Thus, the appeal of Vasily Malyuk, in which he promises to come to everyone who publishes the video of the air defense, was created by artificial intelligence. The authors of the video did not hide this-the appeal was placed in the thematic Telegram channel, but then in social networks the video began to be distributed as genuine.
