At the end of September 2023, several photos of street graffiti were distributed on social networks: they are all connected with Ukraine, but the country's English -language name for them was replaced by the word Urine (“urine”). We checked the authenticity of these pictures.
In total, four shots of three locations were encouraged on the network. The first photo captures a person lying in the urine of the Ukrainian flag, on the second - a portrait of Vladimir Zelensky, and on the third and fourth - the flag of Ukraine on the same building. In all drawings in one form or another, there is a phrase Glory to urine (most often in signatures it is translated as “glory to urine” or “glory of the urine”). It is most often reported that the pictures are taken somewhere in Europe. For example, TEELGRAM channels told about this "Scott Ritter in Telegram"(99,000 views at the time of writing this analysis),"Semyon Pegov | War Gonzo"(95,000),"Russian spring z"(74,000),"Russia 2.0"(45,000),"Prigogine in Telegram"(20,000),"Kedmi in Telegram | Main"(19,000),"Denacification UA"(17,000),"Alexander Kots | He"(13,000) and"New Zavit"(11,000). At the same time, the authors of some publications clarify that we are talking about Germany - such posts appeared in the channels "Observer"(94,000 views),"Politnavigator"(78 000) and"Tsargrad TV"(9300). Similar publications are found on VKontakte, for example, in the verified publics of the patriotic media platform "Conservative"And TV channel"Tsargrad", As well as in others communities.

The authors of many entries with viral photographs believe that the artists responsible for the new anti-Ukrainian street art were inspired by the video, which on the Internet began to be distributed on September 21. Then, many Russian media and social networks claimed that by the arrival of Zelensky in New York on a big screen, due to a technical error, they accidentally showed the Glory to Urine slogan instead of Glory to Ukraine (Glory to Ukraine). "Checked" Made The analysis of that video established that it was fabricated.
In those posts, which claims that graffiti were made in German cities, remind And about graffiti with Zelensky, eating the hand of a soldier of the Armed Forces, which allegedly appeared in mid -September on one of the houses in Berlin. "Checked" It came To the conclusion that this street art never appeared on the building, but was imposed in the photo in a digital way. Moreover, the picture itself was not taken in the German capital, but in Warsaw.
The new viral pictures with the phrase Glory to Ukraine do not capture any attractions or noticeable signs, and in most posts, in addition to indicating Europe or Germany, there is no additional information. However, on one of the buildings, we noticed a sign with number 45, which is similar to those hanging on houses in Paris. Earlier, “verified” was told about three fake graffiti, two of which were allegedly painted in the capital of France in November 2022 and in September 2023. On the first Zelensky was depicted in the form of absorbing money Black hole, and on the second - in the image cannibal, eating the leg of the Ukrainian soldier. The third drawing, which in February 2023 was given out for the emerging in Brussels, portrayed Zelensky devouring Tanks. We and our foreign colleagues-factory colleagues found that all three street arts were created in a computer editor, and photographs that became the basis of those fakes were taken in the eastern suburbs of Paris-Saint-Mandry and Montreye.
It was “verified” that the new graffiti could be imposed in the photo filmed in about the same areas, so with the help of Google Maps we checked several houses with number 45 in the district of the Saint-Mandé metro station. It turned out that the first picture Made at the address Street de Lanya, 45 In another eastern suburb of Paris - Vincent.

Using the Google Street View function, we installed locations from the rest of the photos. In the second picture captured House No. 4 on Belfort Street, also located In Vincennes.

The third and fourth photos were taken on intersection Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Clon-captured building Located in Montreye.

“Verified” did not find a single mention of such graffiti in local media, or in the online communities of the inhabitants of those areas. The Vincenn administration informed us that all the photos from graffiti are fakes. As evidence, we were sent pictures from the same locations where there should supposedly be street art, but there are no drawings or traces of their deletion there. Unfortunately, one of the photos sent shows the other wall (however, the photographer was at the right address), so we give only two pictures below.

For clarity, we made routes in all six places where fake drawings supposedly appeared in November 2022, February and September 2023. According to maps Google And "Yandex", The general path between them is about 1.7 km, a little more than 20 minutes will take its overcoming on foot. By the time of the publication of this analysis, it is not known whether all the photos were taken at the same time (this may not be so, since in the “Brussels” picture people are dressed in warm clothes, and in one of the new people in a T -shirt is noticeable) or the author of the pictures (or a team of authors) lives nearby.

According to the TGSTAT service, three photos of fake graffiti with the phrase Glory to Urine were encouraged after the post in the Telegram channel of the leading Channel One " Olesya Loseva (17,000 views), which was released on September 29 at 14:47 Moscow time. The fourth photo a few hours later appeared in Telegram channels "Tasking News"(6100 views) and"Shkvarka 2.0"(1000).
