In blogs and media, you can find a photo of a poster of flowers of the Ukrainian flag, which is written in French: "Go ahead." Judging by the picture, the poster is located directly opposite the platform. We decided to check if there is such a poster.
In the afternoon of December 19, 2022, two photographs of Poster appeared in the Telegram channel of the Ural News Agency URA.RU Together with the note, under the heading "In the Paris Metro, a ambiguous banner appeared in support of Ukraine." It was claimed that the reader URA.RU was taken by the pictures. The explanation for the photograph was as follows: "The poster hangs on the other side of the paths, and the association" forward through the rails ", that is, to the other world, arises. In addition, there was also an additional interpretation in the post: “Traces on the Ukrainian flag may be hinted that the refugees have already closed and it is time for them to return home. So the local residents took the poster. ” Following Ura.ru wrote about the Parisian poster RIA Fan, "Ukraine.ru"And many famous bloggers - for example, Kristina Poddchikwhich has been convicted more than once In the spread of fakes.
At first glance, the poster seems real. On the walls of Parisian metro stations, advertising is placed in this way. Moreover, both the paths and walls are similar specifically to the Paris Metro. Most likely, the initial photograph was taken at the National station, on the platform of the 6th line. In any case, tiles and lines that separate the tiles of different colors are very similar.

The same walls are visible on this video from the National station:
However, neither the Parisian newspapers, nor French users of social networks about the poster from the publication of URA.RU wrote anything. What is strange, because it is one of the largest transplanting stations of the French capital, and for the inappropriate call to “go forward”, most likely, would be paid attention to. This happened, for example, in early November in St. Petersburg, where the Bushe local network was placed at one of the metro stations with the inscription “Bush for a step forward”-passengers were separated from it. Advertising caused an active discussion in social networks, about it They wrote and city media.
Moreover, posted in the Telegram channel URA.RU, and then the media dispersed in other media is the only “testimony” of the poster. From another angle, no one shot this poster. For comparison, only in the publications of the St. Petersburg publication "Fontanka" presented Five different photographs of Boucher's advertising (and one Video), another picture Published The newspaper "Paper".
In the photographs published in the Russian media and in Russian-speaking Telegram channels, the Secours Populaire logo posted in the upper part of the poster is clearly visible. The QR code also leads to the main site of this charitable organization in the lower right corner of the poster. Secours Populaire is also engaged in helping Ukrainians. March 2, 2022 on the site appeared a detailed reportage On the full -scale invasion of Russia to the territory of Ukraine. Then, in early March, the organization announced Raising funds For Ukrainians who suffered from hostilities, which continues now. At the same time, there is no poster allegedly posted in the Paris Metro, in the public archive on the website of Secours Populaire.

At the request of "verified" project journalists Les Observateurs The France 24 TV channel turned to the organization for comment. The Secows Populaire replied: “We never printed such posters and do not place our posters in the subway.” French journalists received a comment from RATP, a company managing the Paris metro. They also stated that there was no such poster in the subway.
Thus, we can conclude that there was no such poster in the Paris metro. The only proof of its existence is two photographs that first appeared in the Russian -speaking publication. The emergence of a poster in support of Ukraine with an ambiguous inscription in one of the most crowded places in the French capital, at the metro crossing station, would lead to a large number of posts in social networks, but we did not find pictures taken by passengers. Finally, the organization whose logo is depicted on the poster, and the metro operator denies the existence of this poster.
