Yesterday, Russian media and pro-government Telegram channels allegedly refuted the fake about the Buches killed in the Ukrainian city: according to their version, you can see how the dead move their hands and even get up in the video. We checked on what this refutation is based on.

April 2, 2022 on the Espresso TV channel I went out Report dedicated to the events in the city of Buch. On the air showed a video shot by Ukrainian fighters: it captures the bodies of people in civilian clothes, some of them have hands behind their backs. The next day, April 3, the Russian media called these personnel staging and provocation. So, the authors of the Telegram channel "War with Fakes" Wrote The following: “Video with bodies causes bewilderment: here at the 12th second the corpse on the right moves his hand. At the 30th second, in the rear view mirror, the corpse sits down. The bodies in the video seemed to be specially laid out for the sake of creating a more dramatic picture. This is clearly visible if you play a video at a speed of 0.25 from normal. ” This entry reputed Channel of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

On the channel website "Ren-TV" They wrote that users of social networks drew attention to the “resurrection of the dead” and that “one of the dead moves with your hand”. IN "Izvestia" They laid out a short video with part of the broadcast under the heading “Fake about the“ dead ”in the Ukrainian buch exposed the revived corpse on the video.” On the site "Vesti.ru" The version was a little expanded: “Users exposed the fakes, drawing attention to the fact that the corpses on the video frames move their hands and remove their limbs so as not to fall under the wheels of military equipment. In addition, in the rear view mirror you can consider how the deceased gets up shortly after the car with the operator passes by him. ”

And in RIA "News" They brought a commentary on a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation Alexander Brod: “There were already a lot of confirmation in the media and social networks that the SBU, along with the improvised propagandists, hastily cooked the next anti -Russian provocation. Many experts confirmed that lying bodies imitating the dead move their hands, someone gets up from the roadside after making sure that the video camera no longer removes him. ” Brod called this the techniques of "Goebbels propaganda."

In the video of the Youtube channel “Espresso TV” you can really see the frames on which the bodies lying on the road seem to be moved. For example, the “hand movement” can be seen at the 16th second, and not on the 12th, as the “war with fakes” claims. At the 30th second, looking at the reflection in the rear view mirror, it may seem that the other deceased is sitting down. However, all this is only distortion and sight of vision.

Original video back on April 2 on Facebook* Published Lawyer Ilya Novikov. It is longer than what was shown on the air of the Ukrainian television channel, as well as this video, the quality. The alleged movement of the hand of the body lying on the road in the original version of the video occurs at the ninth second. With a detailed examination of the frame, it becomes clear that in fact this is not a hand movement, but just an optical effect. The windshield of the car in which the operator is located is dotted with small white and gray points (it can be stains of dirt and/or glass chips), and one of them (it can be seen almost from the very beginning of the video) at the ninth second “overlapped” the body of the deceased in the dark jacket just in the place where his hand is. The shaking of the camera, the low quality of the video and the dirty glass led to the deception of vision.

As for the body that allegedly sits down, this is the effect resulting from the distortion of reflection in the rear view mirror. In the original video, the previously mentioned moment occurs at the 45th second. If you look at it in good quality and in a slow form, you can see how the proportions of objects in reflection change. At first, the back of the car occupies almost the entire place in the mirror, and then, when the camera begins to move to the left, the reflection of the road and body increases in the mirror. In addition, the body of the deceased is in a bent pose.

Note that later, on April 3, in the Telegram channel "War with Fakes" I went out And a more detailed text on the topic of victims in buch. So, it says that "posts about a large number of victims left among civilians appeared only late in the evening and on the morning of April 3." This is not entirely true, since the post of Ilya Novikov with a video appeared on the day of April 2 (14:23 Moscow time).

In addition, they admitted that there was no hand, but the post was not corrected or complemented. According to the authors of the channel, the video in high resolution appeared only after their publication with a refutation. But this is also not true. In their mistake, they accused the Espresso TV channel: they allegedly used a video with low quality there, while in the report itself they referred to Novikov and said that "he published another shocking video from the city." It was enough to go to his Facebook page and check the publication with the video.

But that's not all. In the large text analysis of the second moment it is written as follows: “As for the second episode about the rearview mirror, to confirm or refute the version, even with high quality, it remains impossible. The position of the body looks changed, and the distortion of the mirror does not explain anything: in the first frame, the body is parallel to the curb, and on the second - it is already perpendicular, which can be the result of body movement. " Only in the screenshots are shown a completely different moment (it is at the mark of 1:03 in the original video), which was not even in the video of the YouTube channel "Espresso TV". Moreover, two corpses are captured on the frames at once, which are not parallel to the curb, but at an angle to it.
