Is it true that a vaccine warehouse burned down in Italy?

A video is being circulated on the Internet, the caption under which says that in Italy there was a fire in a warehouse where vaccines were stored. We decided to check if this is actually true.

The video with the fire was distributed by Telegram channels (for example, the channel "#Exposed" with 20,000 subscribers and a channel “QAnon Russia" with almost 100,000 subscribers), as well as numerous users social networks Facebook. The news was also distributed in other languages: English, Georgian And Hebrew. Users indicate in the description: "After mandatory vaccination for all security forces is approved, the military warehouse where the vaccines were stored magically lights up."

On most of the videos being distributed, a logo with the inews24.it inscription is located in the center of the frame. If you type this combination into the address bar of your browser, it will open website with a similar logo. Even without knowing Italian, you can understand that this is some kind of news resource. On the right side of the site there is a large block entitled Video.

Video of the fire began circulating on social media recently - the earliest post on Facebook dated December 18. It can be assumed that it was posted on the site shortly before. Preview video dated December 15 on the website coincides with footage from social networks. The video on the site also has a description in Italian.

To understand it without knowing Italian, you can use the automatic translator built into your browser. The headline reads: "Rome: Fire at Tor di Quinto police station." It goes on to say that “tall and black flames burst from the Lazio regiment building at the Salvo D'Acquisto Carabinieri barracks in Tor di Quinto in Rome, where the Arma school is also located. It remains to be seen whether the fire started in the offices or residential areas.” As can be seen from the description, the Italian publication does not report any warehouse of vaccines.

On YouTube video hosting, upon request in Italian, “Rome Fire” (Roma fuoco) can be found many others rollersshowing the same incident from different angles. The word vaccino does not appear in the descriptions of any of them. Most likely, one of the social network users took the video of the fire and deliberately distorted the location of the event in the commentary. And the rest reposted without checking.

Moreover, from December 15 in Italy it is valid entered In force, a decree defining an expanded list of specialties for which vaccination has become mandatory. However, there is no connection between the two events. Moreover, the press secretary of the Carabinieri General Staff confirmed fact checkers at Reuters that no vaccines were stored at the police station.

Thus, although the video does not show any signs of editing, the caption with which it is distributed makes it fake.
