In recent years, a poem has been walking along social networks, in which low worship is criticized in front of the West. Its author is often called Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. We checked if it was true.
Here is the full text of the poem:
"Lakes of eternal Europe,
Her spiritual slaves,
You have perverted the father's experience
And the ancestors betrayed the coffins.
At the whim of a bad slave
Servants of other people's undertaking,
You have become a cattle.
You loved the whistle of lashes.
You betrayed Rus' a hundred times
Alien, entering the mind.
Rus forgave you, but back
You pulled your neck to Yar.
You’re a mile of a stranger to you.
And is destined for you because
Know the will ... only the master
And forever bow to him ... "
These verses with reference to Pushkin gained particular popularity in 2014 after the events in Ukraine - then many addressed them to the participants of the Euromaidan. For example, one of publications Facebook works gave rise to almost 800 reposts. There was a poem in "Live magazine". In August of the same year in his article for "RIA Novosti"These lines were attributed to Pushkin by political scientist Yuri Gorodenko. In 2021, the text of the poem with the signature "A. S. Pushkin " appeared On the fence near the House of Trade Unions in Odessa.
However, with all the desire to find such lines, Pushkin will not succeed - neither in canonical works, nor in drafts, nor in letters. One of the earliest preserved references to the poem in Runet is found in one of the blogs on the portal of the newspaper "Tomorrow" dated October 4, 2005, where the work is attributed to a certain Elena Lavrentieva from the city of Donetsk. Lavrentieva has its own page on the site "Poems.ru"From which you can find out that it is a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1971. The desired poem, according to the poetess, was written on October 23, 2003 and entered her printed Collection 2006. In a series publications It is clarified that the work (dedicated, as indicated, “Galician elite”) was written to the first MaidanBut then it turns out that the date of its creation is incorrectly indicated, because the “Orange Revolution” occurred in 2004.
Thus, Pushkin attributed to Pushkin a poem about the “Lacques of Europe” actually belongs to the poetess from Donetsk and appeared in the first half of the zero. This is not the first time that the legacy of the great poet is trying to “enrich” in a similar way. So, in 2020 Runet Flayed His fake poem about quarantine.
