Is it true that in Denmark there are brothels for zoophiles legally?

For several years now, in Russian -language publications on the Internet, you can find reports that Zoofilia is legalized in Denmark and there are even appropriate brothels. We checked the reliability of these messages.

In September 2020, the Russia-1 television channel was published by the 60 minutes program, in which the leaders and guests in the studio discussed sexual education in Denmark. During the discussion of the “rotting West”, the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexei Zhuravlev declared: “They have the first booth for zoophiles opened in Denmark! It works officially, you can come and rape the turtle! <...> This is really absolute! " His words (without a critical assessment) were retold in their materials some federal media, in particular Lenta.ru. However, the deputy was not the first to voiced this news. Back in 2017, such publications appeared on Pikabu and in Facebook, and even in 2021 they flicker in public "VKontakte".

The emergence of publications about the Danish brothel for zoophiles is probably due to the fact that Denmark only recently banned zoophilia at the state level. Corresponding law was accepted Only in the spring of 2015 - violators are waiting for up to a year of imprisonment for the first crime and up to two years for repeated. The minister of agriculture, who represented the bill, Dan Jorgensen said that the ban would protect animals that, by its nature, cannot give consent to sexual intercourse. Against the adoption of the law Voted Only a small faction of the Liberal Party "Liberal Alliance". We could not find reports that this legal norm was changed in subsequent years.

The earliest references to news in Russian can be found in the summer of 2017. Probably one of the first such materials was published On the portal "Bell of Russia". Its authors report that the initiative was supported by Minister Jorgensen (the same that supported the law on the ban on Zoofilia in 2015) that the institution will be in the three -story building in the very center of Copenhagen, and the cost of one “session” will be from € 70 to € 150. The publication does not give references to any reputable sources.

Publications that are very similar to an article in the Bell of Russia (or even with a direct reference to it) began to appear in other media in Russian: on the legal portal 9111.ru, in Russian -speaking versions of the Georgian edition "Georginform" and Estonian resource Õhtuleht, on the Belarusian site Zametki.by and many others.

All these texts are very similar to the article in April 2017 Published French portal SecretNews. The news illustrates the same photograph of the “prostitute dog”, the same Danish minister and “brothel manager” are mentioned in the text, the same price list is called. Apparently, the publication of the French media is the first of the news about the opening of a brothel for zoophiles in Denmark.

However, the references to the news, and even more so its announcement on the air of the Russian federal television channel, lacks one clarification. On the website of the French original source in the section "About us" It is said: “SecretNews is a free and independent parody site. Most of the information on this site is published for satirical and humorous purposes and cannot be considered reliable. ” In fact, this portal is an analogue of IA popular in Russia "Panorama", whose comic messages were also issued on Russia-1 for real news. So, in March 2021, Dean of the Faculty of World Policy of Moscow State University Andrei Sidorov Rethered The publication of the "panorama" that the European authorities allegedly demand to introduce a LGBT certificate into the animated series "Masha and the Bear".

Thus, publications in dubious media and social networks, as well as the statement of the deputy Zhuravlev, who followed them, are based on a message from a satirical site. The authors of the resource on which it appeared openly declare that their news is invented and are not true. Zoofilia was banned in Denmark back in 2015, and we could not find confirmation that the ban was softened or canceled. If the brothels for zoophiles in Denmark work, then illegally, and their owners and visitors run the risk of getting real terms for violation of local legislation.
